This is a buyers agreement. By purchasing a puppy/dog through Senza Tempo Cane Corso you agree to the following:
By purchasing this puppy you agree to have the pup examined by your vet within 72 hours of receipt of puppy. We accept no responsibility after 3 days if the dog/puppy gets sick from a communicable disease after that time. Senza Tempo Cane Corso guarantee’s this puppy to be free of severe genetic abnormalities that severely effect the dogs quality of life for twenty-four months. This does not include abnormalities prone to the breed that do not affect the health of the dog ( i.e.Cherry eye, teeth, entropia, ectropia, or grade 1 or 2 heart murmur, and common conditions found in all Mollosser breeds). Abnormalities like these do not affect the general health of the dog. No replacement will be given on dog/puppies that do not qualify for replacement under the health guarantee. If a genetic abnormality was to occur before twenty-four months of age, the said puppy will be replaced with another puppy from the next available litter. Genetic diagnosis will need to come from two different Veterinarians “yours and mine” and by OFA for cardiac issues and elbows or PennHip for hip issues. OFA diagnosis will not be accepted for Hip Dysplasia.
We do not replace puppies that have environmental injuries due to owner negligence. The buyer is responsible for feeding a non raw diet consisting of no more than 26% protein, 1.3% calcium and 1.0 phosphorous. Multiple studies have shown the need for large breed puppies to not exceed those levels. The buyer must maintain receipts of the food they have been feeding for the health guarantee. This is typically accomplished using the order history function on online purchases. The buyer is responsible for maintaining a healthy weight on their puppy. Buyers need to ensure the dog gets physical activity in a safe and responsible way, taking care to work the dog up to the physical task to ensure the dog doesn’t become hurt. Puppies should not be kept on slippery floors and they should not be allowed to go up the stairs till they are 5 to 6 months old. Even then the activity should be limited as their growth plates take a long time to fuse and injury can happen. No jogging or running long distances till at least 2 years old. Especially for the larger pups.
For dogs sold with the possibility of Breeding Rights: Prior to breeding any adult Cane Corso from Senza Tempo Cane Corso we require you have your adult Cane Corso health tested for elbows and hips and championed with the AKC by 24 months. Dogs must carry the Senza Tempo’s name before the call/show name on the registration papers. We also require the dog be co owned with Senza Tempo Cane Corso until these requirements are met. Once these requirements are completed and satisfactory for breeding, you can breed the dog and we will release our ownership of the dog with no further requirements. If the buyer breeds the dog before fulfilling the requirements our guarantee/contract is void and the buyer agrees to surrender the dog at the buyers expense with no compensation made. No cross breeding with any other breed with any pup/dog from Senza Tempo Cane Corso is allowed. If a dog from Senza Tempo Cane Corso is used in any crossbreeding, buyer agrees to surrender the dog back to Senza Tempo Cane Corso with no compensation made.
Non Breeding Rights: All dogs purchased without breeding rights come with limited registration. Due to health concerns related to neuter we do not require neuter on our male pups. All Female pups are to be spayed by 14 months of age or they can be confiscated at the buyers expense. No dog from Senza Tempo is to be bred without obtaining full breeding rights. If a dog bred by Senza Tempo Cane Corso Is bred without full breeding rights Senza Tempo Cane Corso has the right to reclaim the dog at any time, with no compensation made. If Legal recourse is required at any time all court proceedings are the be filed and maintained in the breeders state of residence and any court fees incurred are to be paid back to the breeder if the buyer loses.
Deposits: The deposit is a promise to buy a puppy. If for some reason the Buyer changes his/her mind on a puppy, they forfeit their deposit. We cannot give a guarantee on specific colors or genders in any specific litter. If a planned litter does not take place, or the litter does not produce the expected number of pups we will transfer your deposit to another litter of your choosing.
The deposit will hold the puppy until it has been weaned and is ready for pick-up. The buyer must pick up the puppy by 8 weeks unless specified with the breeder. A boarding fee of 25 dollars a day will be required for every day the puppy is kept past 8 weeks unless the buyer and the breeder come to an outside agreement in writing.
Conflict resolution: We do not refund any monies paid at anytime. When compensation is required, it will be in the form of a puppy and only when the contract allows. Buyer agrees to keep disagreements and conflicts about the breeder between the breeder and any court system that may be involved. Buyer agrees to not post on the internet/social media about any disagreements or conflicts between the breeder and the buyer. The breeder has seen the way that some angry buyers will try to use social media to slander and weaponize public opinion regardless of the facts, and that is why this clause has been added to the agreement, to protect the breeder and the breeders reputation. The court system is fair and balanced and that is where disputes need to be handled, not the court of public opinion.
